Overview
Solomon Schechter Day School of Essex and Union is committed to offering a dual curricular program of excellence in secular and Jewish studies. We are very proud of the education we provide and the accomplishments of our alumni. Our goal is to continue to improve and expand our program so that we may graduate our students with the best possible skills and preparation so that they can succeed in the finest colleges and in life. We aspire to educate our students to be academically accomplished Jews who will realize their full potential as human beings, committed to the values and beliefs that we as Jews hold dear.
Our greatest challenge is that tuition and fees do not cover the full cost of a Jewish day school education. Each year, we undertake several major fundraising programs and events in order to fulfill our mission. Our school relies on the support of parents, grandparents, past parents, alumni and community members to help support our school.
Please join us in our development efforts and take advantage of this important opportunity to be a partner in Jewish continuity for generations to come. Donations to the Shomrei Torah Annual Campaign support financial assistance to families in need, new technology, enrichment programming, professional development for teachers, class trips, Israel programs, special events, holiday programs, extra-curricular activities, and more.
In addition, gifts to our Capital and Endowment Campaign help us build new state-of the-art facilities on our three campuses and help ensure our school’s ability to provide an excellent Jewish education for generations of students in the future.
For more information on ways to give and make a difference, please contact Stephanie Bash-Soudry, Director of Development & Alumni Relations at sbashsoudry@ssdseu.org or at (973) 602-3612.
EVERY DONOR IS A PARTNER in educating the next generation
and helping Schechter achieve both excellence and affordability.
